Account Management Under The Rocket!

 

Beginning my career as an Assistant Brand Manager at Barkley during the summer of 2019 was such an empowering experience! The company culture is phenomenal and I learned so much about agency life and client experience. My primary tasks were to assist in improving client experiences, assemble decks and complete data analysis.

I am so grateful to announce my return to work under the rocket first as an intern in Barkley’s Summer 2020 Series and then as a full time Assistant Brand Manager dedicated to the ShopRite account. I have now been promoted to Brand Manager working on the U.S. Bank and United Way of Greater Kansas City brands.

Continuing my growth under the Rocket, I was promoted to Senior Brand Manager working on the Merrick-Purina, Applegate, Rally House and Elanco accounts. Excited to see where the next step in this journey takes me!

ShopRite Brand Refresh

ShopRite partnered with Barkley in order to refresh their branding by following our whole brand approach. Over the course of 3 years we created assets across both their masterbrand and own brand programs and built campaigns under the red thread, Helping You Get It Together, Together. Our design guidelines are showcased here in our brand overview video. We even designed their new store to bring the brand update to the store level!

 

U.S. Bank

Barkley is U.S. Bank’s agency of record for their RPS credit card systems. We have implemented Barkley’s whole brand approach with a red thread of Charge Life Forward and launched a new look & feel by creating brand toolkits and promotional assets for each of the 9 personal and 3 business credit cards.

Local businesses can take advantage of U.S. Bank’s High Value program and receive advise on the best credit card to increase their benefits and expand their business’s cash flow. United Way

Barkley partnered with United Way of Greater Kansas City to refresh their branding and promote their mission to bring Kansas City together to help all in need. Our Whole Brand approach provided a red thread line, A Million Ways to Be United, and a new visually energetic design system. On top of this new look & feel for UW, we helped launch their annual fundraising campaign for 2022-2023 through the creation of promotion materials, a profit-share day with local businesses-United by You Day, PR/media outreach a campaign video, out of home materials, merch kits and an influencer campaign.

To launch United Way’s brand refresh, we created a hype video to excite the community to join UW’s mission and become a Waymaker!

30 Years of the Kemper Museum

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Kemper Museum, our team set out to design a wrap design for the KC Streetcar that was eye catching! We aimed to incorporate as many of the artists that have had exhibits at the Kemper over the years as we could. Take a look!

Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art

The Kemper Museum, in Kansas City’s vibrant art district, is an excellent experience open to all. The Kemper’s mission is to keep art available and accessible to all! Free admission, free programs and even free parking!

 

Rally House

A fast-growing local brand, Rally House is making big wins in the sports industry! With new stores opening every year across the country, Rally House is establishing themselves as the go-to place for every team’s fanbase. Barkley increases brand recognition by placing Rally House media where the fans are, no matter what sport you’re thinking of.

Applegate Natural & Organic Meat

Barkley helps brands from all industries pivot and approach their marketing from a Whole Brand perspective. Our first priority on the account was to reframe the brand’s main focus to more closely align with where the brand is going. This rebrand became: Be the Gateway for the Greater Good. This line brings to mind the overall mission to craft products that are good for people, animals and the planet.

The Model Farmer

He is the MODEL for responsible farming practices, a process that Applegate takes very seriously in order to uphold the standards for their products. Standards like; no antibiotics ever, no artificial ingredients, sustainable practices and animal welfare.

Barkley Merger & Rebrand

In 2024, Barkley merged with OKRP, a Chicago based agency with strong client relationships, to become BarkleyOKRP. The full-service agency is dedicated to creating work that helps our client’s stand-out in their industries and make strides with consumers. As my role in the merger, I coordinated our design and creative teams during the rebrand workshop. The outcomes of which include our new logo/wordmark and merch, our internal process templates and overall design system (i.e brand fonts, colors and visual elements).

Over the past 12 months, Barkley & OKRP has become a collaborative united team and we are not the only ones who think so. We’re proud to be a 2025 Ad Age A-List Standout Agency!

2024 Big Indie Event

In order to celebrate the success of the merger, we held a whole agency meeting in Kansas City. Known as the Big Indie, this event gave us the chance to connect in-person with our new partners and establish the bonds of one united agency. This two day event was jam packed with an office tour, lunch, presentations from executives and a BIG party to conclude the festivities.

For this project, I wore many hats including event planner, stage director, speech editor, and tour guide. This was a huge event and had many moving parts to keep an eye on.
